When furniture is being reupholstered, all the old fabric is removed, loose frames are re-glued (without the use of nails), and springs are retied. Lastly, fabric is applied to optimize pattern and repeat visibility.

 

All of the work is done on premise. Horse hair stuffing is used in the restoration of antiques and handstitched edging is restored to duplicate the original look and feel of the piece.

 

All woodwork is cleaned and touched up in the process of reupholstering. We have the ability to create new cushions with any product: foam & dacron, down & feather, down & feather & foam, or even horse hair.
